So this is what a milestone feels like.

I feel like I should be holding a sign or something. Maybe a couple. One could say Welcome. Another: We’re Glad You’re Here. Yet another might have Hooray or Let’s Celebrate. Now that I think about it, I’m going to need a lot more hands to do a proper job of hosting this grand opening of our new site.

That’s because I’ll also need a sign that says The Best Is Yet to Come. And if I give in to some of our more exuberant Maesteroites, there’s sure to be one that says just Awesome! I could also see a Just Watch Us Now sign.

But my conscientious self would probably win out with a more reassuring placard. Something like Taking Care of Business. Because, in spite of all the excitement, that’s always job one.

In truth, the only poster I really need is the one that says simply Thank You. And that one I’ll hold high with both hands. It’s the surest sign that we’ve remembered what’s most important about all of this—the clients, partners and colleagues who made it possible.

So thank you, clients and partners. It is your confidence in us and your loyalty that have enabled us to grow. Thank you for those little pains that come with spreading our wings. They are reminders not of where we are going but of the appreciation we should feel for how far we’ve come. Thank you.

And thank you, fellow travelers. Faithful employees and friends, you should know there’s a little bit of each and every one of you in this new effort. In much the same way as our solutions for clients, it hums with our collective energy. Thank you.
