Quick, name something that’s not an interest of Kaila’s.

Study abroad? Check.

Travel? Of course.

Flying? "Would love to get my pilot's license."

Economics/Finance? Yup. . . double major.

Real estate? Yesiree . . . wants to flip a house.

Foster care/adoption? Awwww!

Dancing? Yes, yes, yes.

Camping? Yuppers.

Volleyball? Can you say, "Kill?"

QA? Duh . . . .

Sounds about right for this Grand Valley Honors College grad. Kaila grew up in Jenison, MI with her parents and one younger brother. She studied abroad in Spain for a semester. That experience ignited her urge to travel, and she once visited twelve countries in as many months. Kaila would like to backpack across Europe or South America and someday lead trips to Israel. When not pursuing her many interests, Kaila devotes time to her faith, family and friends, all of which are very important to her.

Kaila's first job when she was 16 was with a healthcare software company. She spent six years while trying out various majors and internships in college. She had a chance to dabble in QA, project management, client relations, finance, and research. Kaila also interned at a pharmaceutical company, a mental health facility, her church, and at a nonprofit economic development organization.

"I am excited to join a team full of talented people who make products they are proud of. The office is full of fun, cool people and great snacks! I am excited to work in an industry that is continually growing and changing, and to learn a lot along the way!"

Completely Kaila:

  • Has broken most of her toes while swing dancing.
  • Is a vegetarian, except for bacon.
  • Photographed surprise proposals for two of her best friends.
