Being outdoors. Reading in the sun. Coaxing flowers out of the ground. Enjoying the undemanding companionship of dogs and cats. Jessy likes to take time to enjoy the simple things. They have been a comforting counterpoint to her career as a marketing, account and project manager for economic development, advertising and ecommerce/marketing firms in Minnesota. Growing up in the Midwest with her engineer father and RN mother, Jessy thought she would be a veterinarian—until she realized she didn't like chemistry.
Jessy is close to her family and enjoys going back to Minnesota and vacationing in lake cabins her husband's great grandfather built. Her husband, Eric, enjoys bass fishing, a pastime Jessy sometimes shares . . . sort of. “He fishes. I read." She also likes finding treasurers at art shows and fairs, collecting antiques and traveling, more outside the U.S. than within so far. An accomplished (12 years of lessons) pianist, Jessy used to play for weddings, church and choirs, but is now content with the occasional volunteer gig.
