Always hold out for the one YES buried under 100 NOs.

Call it what you will: optimism, a glass-half-full attitude or looking on the bright side. But we’ll call it the Schramm brand of positivity. “No matter what I’ve done, my heart has always been in understanding my clients’ problems, seeing them as my own and being their partner in coming up with a great solution. I live by the mantra ‘Stop thinking of 100 ways to say no and start thinking of one way to say yes.’ It’s important to me and it helps me stay grounded in always searching for the positive.”

Dave is a Kalamazoo native and grew up here in a home he shared with his parents and two younger brothers, Jeff and Tim. After graduating from Portage Northern High School, Dave attended Central Michigan University. He is married to Krystal and is father to three children, Emma (11), Adam (8) and Owen (3). He loves the outdoors, especially when he can be at his cabin in northern Michigan. The Schramm children are active in sports, and so are Mr. and Mrs. Dave coaches baseball and umpires, and Krystal coaches basketball.

Before bringing his energy and positive outlook to Maestro, Dave spent five years at Pfizer, started a business with several colleagues and then joined Biggs-Gilmore (now VML). He looks forward to helping Maestro’s clients continue to grow their brands. “I am passionate about people and believe in the strength of coaching and mentoring. I am very excited to join the Maestro team. Company culture is important to me, and Maestro has an authentic and energetic spirit of collaboration you can feel from every employee.”
